11Don't see your app?
Every app is one entry in its category file under data/apps/ — add it and open a pull request.
How to install — in 5 easy steps
No experience needed. If you can copy and paste, you can do this. Nothing is installed until you run the script yourself.
-
Step 1:Pick your apps
Click any app above to add it. A tick means it is in your list. Not sure where to start? Turn on “Recommended apps” and we pick one good app for each section.
-
Step 2:Download your script
Press “install.sh” in the box next to the apps. It is a small text file that saves to your Downloads folder.
-
Step 3:Open Terminal
Press ⌘ Command + Space, type “Terminal” and press Return. A window with a blinking cursor opens — that is normal.
-
Step 4:Run the script
Copy the line below, paste it into Terminal (⌘ V) and press Return.
$ bash ~/Downloads/install.sh -
Step 5:Wait until it says “All done”
The first time, your Mac asks for your password. You will not see anything as you type it — that is normal, just press Return. It can take 10–30 minutes, and you can leave it running.
